This is about the progress of my robot project.
Like most of my projects, I have an idea and go from there.
Some times my ideas work.
Some times they don't.
I am going to make it out of plastic (PLA) on my 3D printer.
When I make mechanical projects on my printer, I like to design them as a
frame structure (skeletal), I like to see the workings.
This currently is working as I imagined. (well sort of any ways)
I want to make a robot, but in it's current state I would say it's an R.O.V.
(Remotely Controlled Vehicle)
I have written an application for my phone (or other android device) to control it via Bluetooth.
I have written an application for my phone (or other android device) to control it via Bluetooth.
For me to call it a robot I need to add sensors and make it do things on is
own.
I plan to do this.
I have tried to separate my progress into posts in the right order.
Well I now call it my robot, it can now do things on it's own.
It can follow lines, it can draw, can display messages, knows the time of day,
I can give it voice commands.
I will continue when I feel like writing again.
All the videos I have made on this project.
If you like what I have done, or want to know more.
Please leave a comment below.
will you make it available for download?
ReplyDeleteI could.
DeleteIf you want me to upload the STL files I will.
But at the moment this is a make it as I go project.
Things get changed as I find things I could do better, or if something didn't work right.
I still have a lot of work to do on it.
It could take sometime before I finish.
hi, your works so good for students. thanks. i wanna do Rover bot. how is made rover software (cam, navigasyon, ip server, servo control)
ReplyDeleteThis is some of my early work, I find it much easier to use a web page based control.
DeleteI have done some Instructables on how to control things through an IP Server using a camera and servo.

There are some more Instructables on how to make your server and web page to control things.

Hope this helps.
